Clocks

I didn't bring a travel alarm with me as I remembered there was one provided in our room. This was a bad decision. The first one worked like this - set the alarm for 7 and it rang at 2:30 in the morning. The second one had the hour hand wrongly calibrated so that at 6 o'clock, the hour hand would point somewhere between 5 and 6. The third one, if you set the alarm for 6, it rang at 7. If you set if for 8, it would wake you up at 7. Our steward has just set off to get us a fourth one. We hope it works!
